and the home occupants in the handling, construction and permanent state. Two
independent reports have been completed to review occupational health and
safety issues stating that overall Wespine Blue does not possess significant
toxicological properties. It is not considered to be sensitising, teratogenic,

High Affordability
Wespine Blue is a more affordable termite and European House Borer protection than existing H2
treated framing. This reduces a major barrier to holding treated framing stock.
Moisture Stabilisation
Tests of Wespine Blue treated timber in storage has demonstrated a reduction in moisture uptake. This means
improved dimensional stability and reduced fall down and reject stock.
Waste Disposal
Wespine Blue treated timber waste and off cuts can be disposed of or handled with
normal untreated wood wastes in most cases (incineration, chipping, landfill, mulching).
Wespine Blue treated timber wastes are not recommended for cooking fuel or as
furnish for animal bedding or litter.
Durability
Wespine Blue is a penetrating treatment - not just a superficial treatment which
means that it is durable to exposure during construction and good for the long
term once in the finished structure. Normal exposure during transport and storage
will not reduce the effectiveness of the treatment.
